Job summary

We are looking for a professor of economics that is responsible for teaching theoretical and practical knowledge in economics to students of various levels. He/she has to develop and implement curricula for the different levels of study and ensure that these curricula reflect the latest trends and advances in the discipline

Responsibilities and tasks :

  • Designing economics curricula for different levels of study.
  • Prepare detailed lesson plans for each of the courses they teach.
  • Coaching and guiding students in their learning and research work.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure that courses meet the institution’s requirements and quality standards.
  • Participate in economic research projects.
  • Attend conferences and symposia, to keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of economics, and to network with other teaching professionals.

Core competencies :

    • A passion for teaching and previous teaching experience.
    • In-depth knowledge of economic concepts and their application in business.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Excellent research and writing skills.
    • Fluency in several languages (especially English) is an asset.

Education and experience :

  • A Master’s degree in economics, or an equivalent degree in economics
