Job summary

The Video Editor is responsible for editing and post-production of videos and other visual content. The ideal candidate must be able to understand the expectations of clients and the company, and will be expected to work collaboratively with the production team to produce outstanding results.

Responsibilities and tasks :

  • Editing videos to meet specific customer requirements
  • Work with the production team to understand customer needs and preferences
  • Work with a variety of video editing software to produce professional finished products
  • Manage the entire post-production process, including sound processing, colouring and special effects 
  • To complete projects creatively and on time and within budget
  • Maintain the quality and consistency of the brand across all projects, ensuring that the video produced is consistent with the defined quality standards
  • Follow market trends and technological innovations to find new ways to create high quality videos

Core competencies :

  • Excellent video editing and post-production skills
  • Advanced knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro
  • In-depth knowledge of sound processing techniques, colouring and special effects
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good understanding of visual storytelling and editing techniques

Education and experience :

  • Degree in audiovisual production, film or related field
  • Experience in professional video production and post-production is strongly required
