Job summary

The Editor is responsible for the overall management of the publishing process, including the development of editorial strategies, content acquisition, production and finance.

Responsibilities and tasks :

  • Work with the production team and management to determine the editorial direction of the company and develop plans to achieve it
  • Manage the budget for editorial projects, including advances, royalties, production, marketing and distribution costs
  • Supervising the entire editorial process
  • Manage relations with the production team, teachers

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Comprehensive understanding of publishing processes and the publishing industry
  • Ability to supervise and manage multidisciplinary editorial teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Education and experience :

  • Degree in communications, journalism or a related field At least one professional experience in publishing
