The Editor is responsible for the overall management of the publishing process, including the development of editorial strategies, content acquisition, production and finance.
Responsibilities and tasks :
Work with the production team and management to determine the editorial direction of the company and develop plans to achieve it
Manage the budget for editorial projects, including advances, royalties, production, marketing and distribution costs
Supervising the entire editorial process
Manage relations with the production team, teachers
Core competencies :
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Comprehensive understanding of publishing processes and the publishing industry
Ability to supervise and manage multidisciplinary editorial teams
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Commercial skills and ability to develop strong business relationships
Ability to identify and acquire quality content.
Education and experience :
Degree in communications, journalism or a related field At least one professional experience in publishing
